From the Director
November/December '05

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the renovated Flint Institute of Arts and to thank those of you who contributed for your generous support. The new facility holds great promise for the future: exhibitions, art classes, films and videos, lectures, concerts, tours, and much, much more.

Special presentations and events include: Andy Warhol: A to Z, which continues through December 31 and is attracting a large number of visitors, first run foreign and avant garde films every weekend, the Rubens Society Holiday Dinner, the Bray Concerts featuring Crystal Award winner Sa Chen and Gold Medalist Alexander Kobrinand. Also, studio classes will begin in the Spring term with member priority registration ending on January 14th.

I hope you, your friends, and neighbors will take full advantage of the many opportunities that lie ahead for you to discover and enjoy the many art experiences that await you at the FIA. Please visit often, and bring a friend.

John B. Henry III, Director
