Herbert J. & Dorothy W. Booth Family
Learning Center
This is a hands-on studio full of creative, inventive learning stations just for families. For many years, Mrs. Booth worked in the administration of the Institute and, with Mr. Booth, created funds which continue to sustain FIA programs.
Kathryn Sharbaugh Studio
This ceramics studio commemorates the 30th year of Ms. Sharbaugh's involvement with the Institute. Her work is represented in the FIA's permanent collection. She has served as an instructor in the studio program, lecturer, and recently coordinated the Endowment and Capital Campaigns.
Jack W. & Virginia H. Thompson
Ceramic Center
The Ceramic Center houses kiln rooms, studios and labs designed for work in clay, Dr. And Mrs. Thompson started the student booth at the Art Fair, which, to this day, raises funds to subsidize ceramics and established endowments for scholarships and lectures.
Claire M. White Studio Wing
Since childhood Claire White has worked in the FIA studios. Years ago, her commitment to education in the visual arts made Mrs. White a driving force in establishing an endowment for the museum's school. Today, the Institute proudly honors this energtic and devoted arts advocate by designating the FIA's studio wing with her name.
