In response to music, directives, adjectives and restrictions, students will develop a personal vocabulary of marks, lines, shapes and patterns. Students will implement a variety of marks to create a three-dimensional illusion of space using pen and ink. Whether working from imagination or from a photograph, students will create images by fusing their unique marks with their knowledge of value and contrast.
