Pop Art is a 20th century art movement that utilized the imagery of popular culture and techniques of consumer advertising. Pop artists favored figural imagery, the reproduction of everyday objects, and depictions of images and symbols pertaining to current events and popular culture. This exhibition includes, among others, works by Robert Indiana, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Claes Oldenburg, Ed Ruscha, and Andy Warhol.
