Dennis Oppenheim was born in Mason City, Washington in 1938 and grew up in California. He received his BA at California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland and his MFA from Stanford University. Oppenheim has taught at several institutions including Yale University, and the Art Institute of Chicago. His works can be seen at the Museum of Modern Art, the Tate Gallery in London, and galleries of international repute. Dennis Oppenheim resides in New York City.
