This talk between artist Yigal Ozeri, Gallery President and Director Louis K. Meisel, and Curator of Collections and Exhibitions Tracee Glab will offer insight into Ozeri’s career, focusing on the past decade of his work, along with recent works created during the pandemic.
Ozeri has shown extensively around the world including solo exhibitions in Spain, China, The Netherlands, France, Germany, and Mexico. He is represented by Louis K. Meisel Gallery in New York City.
Meisel first coined the term Photorealism in 1969. Since 1967, he has organized hundreds of exhibitions, which have traveled with accompanying catalogues to major universities and museums throughout the world.
Tracee J. Glab is the Curator of Collections and exhibitions and has been at the FIA since 2009. In addition to curating the exhibition, she wrote the essay, “A Journey to Realism,” for the Brush with Reality catalogue.
