Martin Blank creates magnificent sculptures, architectural installations, and public works ranging from abstract landscapes and figurative sculptures to monumental indoor and outdoor installations. After receiving his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1984, Blank worked with Dale Chihuly, and in the 1990s went on to start his own studio. Best known for his hot-sculpting method, Blank uses his whole body to manipulate glass. Continuing to push the boundaries of glass in contemporary fine art, Blank has established himself as one of the world’s most renowned glass sculptors.
