Until the FIA Theater reopens, films will only be available to view online. When permissible to assemble, the FIA Theater seating will be rearranged with appropriate social distancing for up to 70 attendees. Reservations will be required.

Film titles and dates are subject to change.

View Virtual Films

You may access the virtual screenings at by clicking the green button “Order Virtual Screenings” to the right. Follow the prompts or see below for detailed instructions on how to order films. Films will be available for 72 hours once open and you will have 24 hours to finish watching the film once you purchase your viewing.

Instructions to Order Virtual Films

  1. Click the green button labeled "Order Virtual Screenings"
  2. Select the film
  3. Click the blue button, “Select a Showing”
    • click the words “Watch Now in our Online Virtual Festival”
  4. Select the blue “Pre-order now” or “Unlock now” button
  5. Select an amount
  6. Enter your email address and click “Continue”
    • To create an account, enter your full name and password and click “Create an Account”
    • If you have already created an account, enter your password, and click “Login”
  7. Enter your credit card information and click “Add Payment Method”
  8. Review the summary of your purchase and click “Unlock Now”
  9. You will receive an email confirmation of your purchase details
  10. Click on the “Watch Now” button to view your screening

  4. Select the blue “Pre-order now” or “Unlock now” button
  5. Select from the list “Film Society/FOMA Members…”
    • selecting this button will get you to the next step, and you will not be charged
  6. On the pop-up box, click “Have a discount code?”
  7. Enter your unique code (case sensitive) and select “Apply Discount” 
    • this step will zero out the dollar amount 
    • Film Society and FOMA members receive an email with their unique code – if you have not received your code yet, please contact Valarie Bailie.
  8. Enter your email address and click “Continue”
    • To create an account, enter your full name and password and click “Create an Account”
    • If you have already created an account, enter your password, and click “Login”
  9. You will receive an email confirmation
  10. Click on the “Watch Now” button to view your screening

FOMA Films

In cooperation with the Friends of Modern Art, the FIA Theater presents quality independent, international, and classic films that otherwise would not be seen in the Flint area. Films are screened every weekend in the comfort of plush theater-style seating and a state-of-the-art sound system.
