Robert S. & Judy W. Piper Print Library

Bob and Judy Piper’s affiliation with the FIA began early in their marriage, when they worked as volunteers through the Friends of Modern Art at the Art Fair. Their interest in art and the FIA, both as a couple and individually, evolved into participating in studio classes, interpreting the collection through the Docent program, participating in both the Founders Society and FOMA, collecting contemporary prints, serving on countless committees, and serving on the Board of Trustees.

The Piper Print Library safely stores more than 3,000 works on paper, from the 15th to the 21st centuries, in the FIA’s permanent collection, which is accessible for research and study purposes by appointment with the Curatorial Department.
