Homeschool Programs

Our new 2021-22 brochure is available!

Please note: Classroom space is limited. Self-guided and virtual options accompany each program.

Ages 3 & Up

Give your child the best in art education with our classes designed especially for homeschoolers. Our homeschool classes combine looking experiences in the museum galleries and art making lessons in the studio using clay, glass, weaving, painting, printmaking, and drawing media.

Our programs are designed to help students:

  • Develop observation and critical thinking skills through discussions of works of art in the FIA galleries.
  • Deepen understanding of artistic techniques, tools, and media.
  • Investigate ways in which visual art and images convey the human experience.
  • Engage in conceptual imaginative and creative play.

Homeschool programs meet on Monday mornings. Choose from monthly and three-part programs for ages 6-18. Weekly programs are offered for ages 3-5. Parents are welcome to register and participate alongside their child.

Recommended for children ages 3-5, but all are welcome. Parents who wish to attend and work alongside their child need to register as well.
