Governed by a thirty-member Board of Directors, the purpose of the Founders Society is to assist in implementing programs at the FIA, through fundraising and other activities; to promote local interest in works of art; and to acquire, sell, or manage property, which may come by gift, grant, or bequest for the FIA's general benefit. The Society organizes an annual winter art fair, and coordinates other events and fundraisers throughout the year.
