Enrich your life as a member of the Flint Institute of Arts. For one year, enjoy special privileges to exhibitions, films, events, lectures, art classes, and much more. Your support will continue to sustain one of Michigan's most valuable cultural assets.
A Flint Institute of Arts membership makes a thoughtful and welcome birthday, holiday, anniversary, or graduation gift. Besides helping support your Museum, a gift membership will complement the recipient and bring them a year of great art experiences.
For only $20 in addition to your FIA membership, you can become a Founders Society member or a Friends of Modern Art (FOMA) member. To join or renew your membership online, you can select your membership level and then be given the option to also select either FOMA or Founders Society or both for $30 and make one payment.
Digital Member Cards Are Here!
Everything around us has gone digital and so has your FIA member card.
Going digital is an option, and you may continue to also receive a paper card, however having your membership card right on your phone will be very convenient!
To download and activate your digital member card, you will need an email address and either an iPhone or an Android phone. Approximately two weeks after signing up for a digital card, you will receive an email from the FIA with your card and instructions on how to download it.
If you are a new member or it is time to renew your membership, click here for an online membership form. The form has selections for “Digital Card,” “Physical Card,” or “Both.” If you are already a member and would like a digital card, please email the Membership Coordinator, Valarie Bailie, at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, address, and email address and indicate “Digital Card.”

More Than 1,100 Museums
If you are an FIA member at the Sustainer, Sponsor, Donor, or Rubens Society level, as you plan your road, plane, or day trip, be sure to take your FIA membership card. At these membership levels, your FIA card allows you admission and other benefits to more than 1,100 participating museums in the U.S., Canada, El Salvador, Mexico, and Bermuda. Visit arts, cultural, and historical institutions along with botanical gardens, children’s museums, science and technology centers, and more.
Just present your membership card validated with the gold North American Reciprocal sticker (pictured here) to receive membership privileges. It is recommended that you contact the institution you plan to visit prior to visiting in order to understand the benefits you will receive at that institution and to avoid any confusion.
A list of participating museums is available on our website. A list of participating museums in Michigan is also available online. If you do not have access to the Internet, our membership staff can mail a list to you.
To upgrade your membership to one of the levels listed above, contact the Membership Coordinator at email@example.com or 810.234.1695. You can also upgrade by clicking the green link below.
The FIA’s Youth Membership is a fun way for children ages 2.5–12 to learn about art and create their own. Dues are $20 for the first child and $10 for each additional child.
