Trueba Lawand Family Galleries

The Trueba Lawand Family Galleries are comprised of three areas each named for one of three sisters: Concha, Araceli, and Jamile. The sisters were raised by a serious, loving mother who conveyed her passion for the visual arts by making art museum visits the top priority in all their travels. Jamile serves on the FIA Board of Trustees and the Friends of Modern Art.

Trustee Jamile Lawand has designated the Art of the Americas galleries which comprises three areas (galleries). Each of the spaces will be named after the Trueba Lawand sisters. The west gallery (Inuit) Araceli, east gallery (Native American) Concha and center (Pre-Columbian) Jamile.
