The iconic performance documentary from 1976 returns to remind us of the influence of non-mainstream country artists on the American music scene. Hard-playing and hard-living genre-changers such as Townes Van Zandt, Charlie Daniels, Guy Clark, David Allan Coe, and Steve Earle are heard.
