Juan Valadez, Director of the Rubell Museum, will give an overview of the exhibition featuring contemporary works of art from the Rubell Museum. The Rubell Family Collection was established in 1964 and it is now one of the world's largest privately owned contemporary art collections. The Rubell Collection features well-known artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Nick Cave, and Mickalene Thomas. The Rubell Museum actively acquires exhibits, and champions emerging artists working at the forefront of contemporary art.
