| Details | In this talk, Executive Director John B. Henry contemplates why some people have a strong aversion to abstract art and suggests ways to overcome these initial negative reactions. By exploring the historical, cultural, and philosophical changes in the late 19th and early 20th centuries that allowed for the emergence of the purely abstract image, he aims to demystify abstraction and make it more enjoyable for all.
