Get ready for the fourth film in our 8th Annual African American Film Series - "Balloon Man". Enjoy a evening with Communities First, Inc. full of food, art, and a great film. As a part of our Culture Shock program, this opportunity is free to attend!

"Balloon Man" explores the life of Bill Costen. After being drafted by the Buffalo Bills, tragedy forces him out of his dream. Saying goodbye to a career on the turf, Bill takes to the air, becoming the first African American Hot-Air Balloon Master Pilot in the world.
Doors open at 5:30 PM for dinner and for after hours viewing of the Flint Institute of Art's galleries. The film begins at 6:45 PM.
The panel discussion following the film will be on Saturday, February 11th at 2:00 PM.
