Curator of Collections and Exhibitions Sarah Kohn will explore how the 1937 bombing of Guernica, Spain, motivated Pablo Picasso to paint one of his best-known paintings, Guernica. She will also discuss how his painting became the inspiration for Sophie Matisse’s large-scale artwork of the same title at the FIA.
