Jean-Luc Godard, Franco-Swiss film director, pioneer of the French New Wave film movement in the 1960s was considered the most influential filmmaker of the post-war era. This retrospective highlight some of his most acclaimed films from the New Wave period. 

Contempt

Starring Brigitte Bardot and Jack Palance with a cameo by Fritz Lang, Contempt is a study of a crumbling marriage. Considered one of the masterworks of modern cinema, critics have hailed it as “Godard’s ravishing masterpiece… a meditation on classicism and modernism.”
