Youth Membership Activity – Free to Youth Members

A youth membership is only $20 and includes activities for one year.

Imagine a world covered in millions of dots… everything… trees, people, animals, buildings… and… even pumpkins. Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama imagines and celebrates just such a world everyday in her artwork. After a brief introduction to her life and work, Youth Members will draw from observation and create dotted pumpkins in the style of Yayoi Kusama. Youth members should plan on staying for the entire two-hour project. Parents are encouraged to visit the galleries or see a glass-blowing demonstration in our new hot shop while waiting.
