To promote her new album of the same name as this 87-minute movie, Aretha Franklin sang for the cameras, and now you can hear her deliver “What a Friend We Have in Jesus,” “Precious Memories,” “Mary Don’t You Weep,” “How I Got Over,” and other favorites. Says Peter Travers of Rolling Stone magazine: “It’s the closest thing to witnessing a miracle — just some cameras, a crowd and a voice touched by God.” Admission – $5 members, $6 non-members, $4 FOMA members Film titles are subject to change. |
