Details | 2-Day Workshop Using a variety of sculpting techniques, bring visions to life in glass. Starting with basic solid sculpting and moving into bit work, garage assembly, and inside sculpting, learn how to approach sculptural projects in the hot shop. Beginners, Intermediate TH & FR 11/14-11/15 10a-4p Studio 8 GL-71 Tuition $120 Julia and Robin Rogers share a passion for sculpture and molten glass. After assisting each other for ten years, they decided to create collaboratively. Ideas, techniques, and an array of materials are melded together to manifest their combined surreal vision into anthropomorphic explorations. They both hold advanced degrees in art and love teaching. Robin is the manager of the Chrysler Museum Glass Studio, and Julia teaches for Virginia Wesleyan University and Tidewater Community College in coastal Virginia. |
