Ash Arder will be in conversation with Levon Kafafian to unpack the term site-specific through a reflection on their ideation process for recent outdoor works. The two collaborators will also discuss site as an active agent rather than as a passive stage. How can ephemeral elements of space - all the non-physical things - be used as material for a creative project? Why is the site for ideation and fabrication just as important as the site for installation? Arder and Kafafian are interested in generating with audiences new ways to think and
talk about site-specific art.
