Join the Founders Society for a weekend of art and entertainment at the 12th Annual First Frost Arts & Fine Crafts Fair, Saturday, November 4 from 10a-5p and Sunday, November 5 from 11a-4p. In addition to the 50+ artists working in a variety of mediums, including fiber, wood, metal, and clay, the fair features live entertainment, a raffle of items donated by First Frost artists, a fantastic bake sale, and the Festival of Trees, in which one-of-a-kind trees and wreaths, created by local florists and designers are available for purchase.
Marvel at the many living statues (Don't tell - They're actually Corunna High School Students!) or stop in the FIA Theatre to hear the Arrowhead Babershop Chorus on Saturday morning. Satisfy your sweet tooth with homebaked treats from the bake sale or try your luck at winning a piece from an incredible regional artist by entering the raffle. Do all of this and more during First Frost for only $5. Best of all, kids under 12 with a parent, guardian, or caregiver are FREE!
All funds raised during the event help support the programming and exhibitions at the Flint Institute of Arts, so start (or perhaps, finish) your holiday shopping and support Michigan's second largest art museum in the process!
