What is Birdies for Charity?
Birdies for Charity is one of The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren philanthropic initiatives that provides an opportunity for Michigan 501(c)(3) charities and schools to raise additional funds. This fundraising program allows charities to benefit from the number of birdies made by PGA TOUR Champions players during competitive rounds of the tournament.

What is a birdie?
A birdie is a score of one stroke under par for any golf hole on the course. The par value of a hole is the predetermined number of strokes an expert golfer should require to complete the hole. Example: On a par 5 hole, a score of 4 is a birdie. The average number of birdies at a PGA TOUR Champions event is approximately 850 birdies.

Pledges can be made online at theallychallenge.com/birdies or mail the pledge card. (One-time flat donations will be billed immediately. Per birdie pledges will be billed after the tournament. All credit card donations must be made online.)
