Dear Friends,
Michigan’s Stay-At-Home order is well underway, and as we stay isolated, I would like to say that we wish you and your loved ones all the best in the coming weeks.
The FIA galleries and Art School studios are temporarily closed, but our virtual content is available 24/7. Here, we’ve gathered videos and articles from around the museum and Art School that we hope will give you food for thought, a reason to smile, or a moment of connection. We’ll be updating these pages regularly, so visit again. Follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for the latest, and if there’s something you’d like to see here, send us a message.
We look forward to welcoming visitors and members back to the galleries as soon as we are able to safely do so. Based on the current information available to us, that timing will be mid-May at the earliest. All FIA events and programs remain canceled through June 30 and we will be providing more details about re-opening plans when they are available.
If you are a member, I am very pleased you are staying connected and if you are not a member, I am delighted that you are visiting. During this time of browsing the internet, we hope that many of you are learning more about the FIA, and we invite you to become a member online! Members are a vital part of the FIA, and we welcome you to our creative neighborhood.
