Meet and chat with Emily Bibb, Curator of the Paul R. Jones Collection of American Art at The University of Alabama in the Hodge & Henry Galleries.
Emily Bibb has worked at The University of Alabama since 2012 beginning as their Collections Manager, and now she is the Curator of the Paul R. Jones Collection of American Art, one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of 20th-century African American art in the world. Bibb also serves as the digital archivist for the Birmingham Black Radio Museum in Birmingham, Alabama. She holds a Master of Library and Information Studies from The University of Alabama and a master’s degree in museum studies from New York University. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor of arts in studio art.
